The Wells Rotary Club had the privilege of hosting District Governor Emma Bodwell for a special meeting this past week. It was a wonderful opportunity for our members to come together, share in fellowship, and hear her vision for the Rotary year ahead.

Governor Bodwell’s theme, “Unite for Good,” highlights the importance of building connections, strengthening partnerships, and amplifying the impact Rotary can have when we work together. During her visit, she spoke passionately about the role Rotarians play not only in their local communities but also on a global scale, reminding us that every act of service—big or small—contributes to meaningful change.

She also took time to learn about the many projects and initiatives happening within our club. From community service efforts to fundraising events, Governor Bodwell was eager to hear how the Wells Rotary Club is making a difference here at home. Her encouragement to continue sharing our stories and celebrating successes was both motivating and affirming of the work our members dedicate themselves to each year.

The meeting was not only inspiring but also a celebration of the Rotary spirit. Members left feeling energized and reminded of the strength that comes from being part of a larger organization united in service.

We are truly grateful to Governor Bodwell for spending time with us and sharing her leadership, insight, and enthusiasm. Her visit was a meaningful reminder of the power of Rotary and the positive change we can create together.
