WHEN DID YOU JOIN ROTARY? 2007

WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO JOIN ROTARY?  I was and still am excited to have the opportunity to work with a team that is committed to the local community.

SINCE BEING IN ROTARY ARE THERE ANY SPECIFIC PROJECTS THAT YOU ARE MOST PROUD OF? WHY? I’ve been extremely happy to see our continued commitment of fundraising to meet our High School/Community College Scholarships goals; and our pledges to the local Food Pantries – these important endeavors make a difference in people’s lives.

TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF: WHAT IS YOUR LINE OF WORK? WHAT GOT YOU IN THE FIELD? WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE HOBBYS? WHAT DO YOU WANT OTHER ROTARIANS AND MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY TO KNOW ABOUT YOU? WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO GAIN OUT OF THIS ROTARY CLUB?
I’ve worked within the United States Navy Submarine community for the last 30 years – loving every minute of it!  I enjoy all aspects of weight lifting and weight training; and I’m committed to our local community. “Rotary is service.  You don’t come to Rotary to get something out of it, you come to Rotary to put something into it...and once you’ve put something into it – you will get something out of it, but it won’t be what you expect, it will be better.”
