Bob Satter is a long time Rotarian. He is a Florida resident but has summered in southern Maine since he was a child and met his wife at the Ogunquit beach. Bob graduated from West Point, completed parachute and ranger training then served in Germany and later as a company commander with the 1st Air Cav Division in Viet Nam.
After leaving the service Bob went back to graduate school obtaining degrees in Engineering and Law. After a brief job as an engineer Bob moved to Florida started a real estate development and construction firm. Over a 40-year period, his company built a ½ billion dollars worth of homes and commercial facilities in Florida , NH and Vermont. In his post-retirement years, he developed the Forest and Forest Village Condominiums in Wells.
